Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative for a Microfinance Bank. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Minimum Qualification: OND
  • Experience Level: Entry level
  • Experience Length: 1 year

Job Description/Requirements


  • Open accounts for customers
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints and requests
  • Post some transactions into the banking application
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Generate sales leads
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum of 1-year working experience in customer service or similar roles
  • Minimum of OND degree from a reputable tertiary institution
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of BankOne banking software is an advantage
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Strong command of English language
  • Fluency in other local languages would be an added advantage
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Remuneration: NGN80,000 to NGN100,000 naira monthly salary + Other staff benefits

Location:  Lagos Island, Lagos state
