Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle technical and creative recruitment (sourcing → screening → interviewing → offer → onboarding) for: Software Engineers (Frontend, Backend, Full-Stack, Mobile, DevOps, Data, AI/ML), Product Managers & Owners, UI/UX Designers, Product Designers, Motion Designers, Content Creators, Video Editors, Photographers, Creative Directors, Digital Marketers, Growth Hackers, Performance Marketers, SEO/SEM Specialists, Social Media Managers, Analytics & Data-driven Marketers
- Develop and continuously improve tailored talent pipelines and sourcing strategies for each discipline, leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound (AngelList), X (Twitter), GitHub, Behance, Dribbble, Upwork (selectively), local Nigerian/African tech communities, university partnerships, and niche Slack/Discord groups.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and startup founders to: Write and refine compelling, inclusive job descriptions, Define role-specific scorecards, technical assessments, design challenges, case studies, and portfolio reviews, Create structured interview loops (technical, behavioral, cultural fit, trial tasks where appropriate)
- Build and maintain a strong employer branding presence for SINC Partners and portfolio companies: Create content (LinkedIn posts, X threads, blog articles, talent spotlights), Represent the company at tech meetups, design events, growth marketing conferences, hackathons, and virtual panels
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring by proactively sourcing underrepresented talent and implementing bias-mitigating processes.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics (time-to-hire, source-of-hire, offer acceptance rate, diversity stats, cost-per-hire) and use data to optimize processes.
- Manage external vendors (recruitment agencies, assessment platforms) when needed and negotiate competitive terms.
- Stay ahead of talent market trends in Nigeria, Africa, and globally for tech, design, media, and digital marketing roles—advising leadership on compensation benchmarks, remote work policies, equity packages, and candidate expectations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
