Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic human resource manager (Female) with a strong background in the hospitality industry to lead and manage all HR functions within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment, and ensuring compliance with labour laws, while fostering a positive and productive work environment across all departments.

Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement effective HR policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee all HR operations and ensure smooth day-to-day HR activities.
- Advise management on organizational development and workforce planning.
Recruitment & Talent Management:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes for all roles within the organization.
- Identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Oversee onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary processes professionally.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain high employee morale.
- Implement engagement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
Performance Management:
- Develop and manage performance appraisal systems.
- Support department heads in setting KPIs and evaluating staff performance.
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs.
Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage payroll coordination, leave management, and benefits administration.
Hospitality HR Oversight:
- Understand and manage HR needs specific to the hospitality sector, including shift management, high staff turnover, and service standards.
- Work closely with operations to ensure staffing supports excellent guest service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management, with proven experience in the hospitality industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Must be female
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing HR operations in hotels, restaurants, or event centers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and service-driven environment.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000- 250,000 net
Location: Abuja
