Job summary
We are seeking a passionate, fitness-focused, and creative host to join our team, with primary responsibility for creating high-converting short-form sales videos and secondary responsibility for hosting live streaming sessions for our TikTok Shop US market. Based in our Lagos studio, you will showcase our core products (stationary bikes and treadmills) and supplementary fitness equipment, demonstrate proper usage, share practical workout tips, and drive sales to American fitness audiences. Your core mission is to create engaging, authentic short videos that resonate with US viewers, build product trust, and boost conversion while supporting live streaming efforts to maximise sales performance and audience loyalty.

Responsibilities:
Short-Form Sales Video Creation (70% of Workload):
- Produce 3-5 high-quality, engaging short videos (15-60 seconds) daily for TikTok Shop US, focusing on demonstrating stationary bikes, treadmills, and other fitness equipment.
- Script, film, and assist with basic editing (editing support is provided) to create videos that highlight product features, usage tutorials, workout routines, and promotional offers tailored to US fitness trends and audience preferences.
- Emphasise key selling points of stationary bikes and treadmills (e.g., adjustable resistance, smart connectivity, space-saving design, ease of assembly, workout modes) to address US viewers’ pain points (e.g., limited gym access, busy schedules, home workout needs).
- Incorporate natural US slang, relatable fitness scenarios, and clear calls to action (CTAs) to drive clicks, product inquiries, and purchases.
- Collaborate with the content and product teams to ensure video accuracy, align with seasonal fitness campaigns (e.g., New Year’s fitness resolutions and summer workout challenges), and
- Optimise content based on performance metrics (views, engagement, and conversion rate).
- Stay updated on US fitness trends and TikTok algorithm best practices to ensure videos reach and resonate with the target audience.
Live Streaming (30% of Workload):
- Host 2-3 weekly live streams (1-2 hours each) during US peak hours (afternoon/evening, local Nigerian time) to showcase stationary bikes, treadmills, and other fitness equipment in real time.
- Demonstrate workout routines using the products; answer viewer questions (e.g., product specs, assembly, and workout effectiveness); address concerns; and promote exclusive live-only deals to drive immediate sales.
- Engage with US viewers in real time, build rapport, and foster a loyal audience by sharing fitness tips, responding to comments, and creating an energetic, interactive live environment.
- Prepare for live streams by reviewing product details, testing equipment functionality, planning demonstrations, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure smooth execution (lighting, sound, product display).
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional, energetic, and authentic on-camera presence that aligns with the brand and resonates with US fitness audiences.
- Comply with TikTok Shop policies and guidelines to ensure all video and live content is appropriate and compliant.
- Meet daily video production quotas and monthly sales targets, working closely with the team to optimise content strategy and sales performance.
- Learn about new fitness products (especially updated stationary bikes and treadmills) and adapt content to evolving US market demands.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native English proficiency (speaking, writing, and comprehension) with familiarity with US culture, fitness terminology, and casual slang—the ability to connect authentically with American viewers is essential.
- Genuine passion for fitness and practical experience with fitness equipment, particularly stationary bikes and treadmills—experience with home workouts, fitness coaching, or gym instruction is a strong plus.
- Proven experience creating short-form video content (TikTok preferred) with a focus on e-commerce sales—the ability to create engaging, conversion-driven content is a must.
- Comfortable and charismatic on camera; able to demonstrate fitness equipment clearly, speak confidently, and keep audiences engaged (both in short videos and live streams).
- Basic understanding of TikTok Shop functions, short video editing (or willingness to learn), and e-commerce conversion logic.
- Ability to work flexible shifts that align with the company.
