Job summary
We are seeking a Sales Engineer, Thermal & Steam Engineering, who will be responsible for driving sales and business growth of boilers and related thermal solutions in Nigeria by identifying customer needs, providing technical solutions, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets through effective pipeline management, client engagement, and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities:
- Understanding the customer's needs and providing technical solutions with our products.
- Knowledge of boilers, steam accessories, steam traps, energy efficiency solutions, and heat exchangers.
- Extensive travel to visit customers, maintain updated call schedules, and report activities in the system.
- Achieve order booking target (value and no. of orders as per Annual Business Plan) for the assigned territory and product lines
- Understanding boilers/heaters on oil/gas/solid fuel and understanding various fuel combustion processes.
- Coordinate with HO and branch teams for offers, orders, payments, and customer service.
- Provide accurate order booking projections, lead and prospect reports to support business growth
- Generate and maximise cross-sales opportunities
- Anchor enquiry management system from lead generation to order closure
- Develop OEMs, consultants and EPCs
- Assist business development and promotion strategy, Build case studies Customer testimonials
- Be a single point of contact for customers for multi-division product lines across multiple functions, viz. sales, service and supply chain
- Provide inputs on new product development, pricing, breaking into new market segments, change in Industry norms and win/loss analysis
Requirements:
- A minimum of a BE (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical)
- A minimum of 4 years to 8 years of experience.
- Must have experience in thermal and steam engineering, boilers, absorption chillers, and/or water and air pollution control systems.
- Strong Technical, analytical , communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong ability to work cross functionally across hierarchies in a highly matrix organization structure
- Passion to network, build relations with customer and improving sales
- Flair to build in-depth know-how of multiple products
- Contracting and negotiation skills, strong commercial acumen
- Proficient in English – written and verbal
- Ability to work with a multi-cultural team
- Candidate should be ready to travel extensively within the country
- Candidate must have a driving licence and Passport
