Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

• Architect and deploy robust network infrastructures that support both internal operations and remote work requirements.
• Customize network designs based on organizational needs and integrate security measures from the ground up.

Maintenance and Optimization:

• Regularly monitor network performance, perform troubleshooting, and swiftly resolve issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
• Schedule and perform network enhancements and upgrades to ensure our infrastructure meets the evolving demands of remote work technologies.

Security Management:

• Implement and manage network security tools and protocols to safeguard sensitive data and communications.
• Conduct regular security assessments and updates to address potential vulnerabilities.

Technical Support and Collaboration:

• Provide expert technical support to our team, resolving complex network issues to ensure optimal productivity.
• Collaborate with IT staff and external consultants to coordinate and execute network strategies that align with the C3 Project’s goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance, ideally with a focus on supporting remote operations.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in American English, both verbal and written.

Location: Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria  

Type: Full-Time  

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 3-hour breaks, Monday through Friday
