Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- IoT &Edge Integration: Provisioning devices into IoT architectures, converting industrial protocols (e.g., MODBUS to MQTT), and writing edge microservices for telemetry data processing over wired and wireless backhauls.
- Infrastructure Automation: Managing cross-platform Linux/Windows servers, writing scripts to automate routine tasks, and maintaining system availability/disaster recovery.
- Cloud & Serverless: Deploying scalable cloud infrastructure, managing containerised apps (Docker/K8s), and implementing serverless pipelines to handle continuous telemetry streams.
- Network & IT/OT Security: Supporting enterprise networks, firewalls, and site-to-site VPNs across wired and wireless links while enforcing security protocols (TLS/SSL, identity management) on edge hardware.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.S. in electrical, telecommunication, computer, or system engineering.
- AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA), vendor-specific microwave certifications (e.g., Aviat, Siklu, Ubiquiti, Cambium, Ceragon), CISSP, or CompTIA Security+.
