Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns to improve AMMC’s visibility and audience engagement.
- Create, edit and coordinate content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and other relevant channels.
- Assist in developing marketing materials, presentations, company profiles, promotional graphics and digital communications.
- Research industry trends, target audiences, competitors and marketing opportunities across African and international markets.
- Support the management and growth of AMMC’s social media accounts and online communities.
- Assist with website content updates, search engine optimization (SEO) and other activities that improve online visibility.
- Support email marketing, outreach campaigns, newsletters and business communications.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, online events, industry campaigns and brand awareness activities.
- Track marketing activities and prepare simple reports on content performance, audience engagement and campaign outcomes.
- Collaborate with business development and other teams to support lead generation, audience growth and commercial objectives.
Requirements:
- A degree, diploma or current studies in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public Relations, Media, Digital Marketing or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content.
- Creativity, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good research, organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team.
- Access to a computer or suitable smartphone and a reliable internet connection.
- An interest in marketing, business, technology, African industries or international commerce.
Additional Advantages:
- Experience creating social media content, graphics, short-form videos or presentations.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics or Google Search Console.
- Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, content strategy or digital advertising.
- A portfolio of previous content, campaigns or creative projects.
- Interest in mining, minerals, recycling, commodities, sustainability or African economic development.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages relevant to African or international audiences
