Facility Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a highly disciplined, technically competent, and operationally proactive facility manager to lead the recovery, maintenance, and operational stability of the hotel’s physical infrastructure and engineering systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel facilities, rooms, public areas, engineering systems, utilities, and guest-support infrastructure remain fully functional, safe, presentable, and operationally reliable at all times. The role requires a hands-on facilities leader capable of driving rapid room recovery, preventive maintenance systems, technical team coordination, infrastructure reliability, and fast issue resolution within an active hospitality environment. This is not a reactive maintenance role. The Facility Manager will be expected to build systems, enforce discipline, improve response time, eliminate operational downtime, and restore confidence in the hotel’s infrastructure reliability.

- Oversee all hotel engineering and facility operations daily
- Ensure all rooms, halls, public areas, and back-of-house areas remain fully operational
- Maintain uninterrupted support for hotel operations and guest experience
- Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections
- Reduce repeated faults and emergency breakdowns
- Build room-by-room maintenance history tracking
- Lead aggressive room recovery and repair initiatives

- Evaluate staff performance and productivity
- Coordinate external contractors and suppliers
- Verify quality of outsourced work
- Monitor quotations, materials, and repair standards
- Prevent unnecessary repeat repairs and waste
- Maintain daily maintenance dashboards
- Track open vs completed issues
- Escalate critical operational risks immediately
- Submit daily and weekly technical reports to management
- Minimum 5–8 years facility/engineering management experience
- Hospitality or hotel engineering experience strongly preferred
- Strong hotel engineering/facility management experience
- Deep understanding of HVAC/AC systems
- Strong preventive maintenance planning ability
- Fast problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
- Ability to work under pressure in active hospitality operations
- Strong reporting and operational coordination ability

- Strong understanding of guest-impact priorities
- Proven experience managing ac systems, generators, plumbing, electrical systems and hotel room maintenance
