Job summary

The facility manager oversees the daily operations of a building or property. They ensure the facility is well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for employees and visitors.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise cleaning, maintenance, and repairs
  • Ensure safety and security of the building
  • Manage facility staff and contractors
  • Monitor electricity, water, and other utilities
  • Handle building budgets and supplies
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify problems
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules

Requirements:
  • A minimum of a diploma in facility management, engineering, business administration, or a related field
  •  A minimum of 2 years of experience
  •  Experience in property or facility management is an advantage
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance and safety procedures
  • Organizational and time-management skills
