Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Applied Service Specialist for African Markets 
  • Training responsible for the local market: Understand the local market structure, key players and help to build a  strong training program. 
  • Achieve annual training target (qualitative and quantitative) 
  • Ensure the Improvement and effectiveness on Training Delivery by checking the impact on Trainees
  • Provide support to Customers in his assigned territories following Daikin Service Pillars such as  Promptness Reliability and Kindness 
  • Support all field and operational issues when required 
  • Be well trained, oriented and introduced to Applied Products 
  • Be able to perform all types of Field Service Intervention for Applied Products Efficiently  (installation/commissioning/Maintenance/Troubleshooting/Repair) 
  • Generate comprehensive site or work reports on the work performed 
  • Work completely and comprehensively on Service Scope for Applied sales projects 
  • Demonstrate good teamwork and adaptability in working with different conditions and different nationalities  
  • Be able to analyze complicated/advanced technical applied problems and provide solutions. 
  • Report All Quality related issues to the line manager or the factory 
  • Provide constructive feedback to further improve work and operations in general 
  • Be flexible and willing to Travel on Sales territories under DAME Group

Job Requirements: 

Experience & Knowledge: 

  • Minimum 3 -5 Years of experience 
  • Experience working with Applied Products 
  • African HVAC Market experience 
  • Strong Technical Knowledge on HVAC and HVAC Fundamentals 
  • Hands-on working experience and knowledge on Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigerant circuits and HVAC
  • Training experience needed 
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and other MS tools 


  • Graduate with an Engineering Degree (Mechanical / Electrical or Equivalent) 


  • English Speaking Skills 
  • French is a plus but not mandatory 
  • Hands-on working skills in Electrical, mechanical and refrigeration circuits 
  • Good Communication, Technical and Analytical Skills
