Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Administrative Officer to join our team and support our daily procedures. The restaurant Administrative Officer will act as the point of contact for customers (physically and online), providing administrative support and managing their queries. Main duties include managing office stock, preparing regular reports, and organizing company records. If you have previous experience as a restaurant Administrator we would like to meet you.

  • Minimum Qualification: HND
  • Experience Level: Mid level

Job Description/Requirements

  • Taking orders via varieties of platforms including WhatsApp, call-in, Instagram, and food aggregators like Jumia, G-shop, etc.
  • Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers.
  • Assist customers with menu selection and answer all questions in a respectful and patient manner
  • Confirm customer orders for accuracy before entering them into the Point of Sale System/receipts
  • Constant communication with the kitchen to make sure there is an adequate amount of stock for customers who have placed orders. Hence, adjust order-taking speed accordingly.
  • Sending of broadcasts or promotion products via status updates frequently to inform customers and boost sales
  • Issues receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
  • Ensure all products are delivered in a clear and professional manner
  • Ensure all products comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
  • Pace the number of orders to allow adequate time for assembling quality food products
  • Package take-out items and complete accurate transactions
  • Ensuring physical count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match
  • Put away products to inventory locations, in accordance with applicable instruction and expiration requirements
  • Report on items received Weight, Date, quantity, vendor, and/purchaser.
  • Manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with ‘FIFO’ practices (First In, First Out)

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of HND in any relevant field or management course.
  • Proven work experience (At least 2 years) working in a similar capacity in a reputable food business.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Suite Office.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer management skills
  • Must reside in the Victoria Island axis of Lagos or be willing to relocate.

Salary: NGN 50,000 - 70,000 Monthly.

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.
