Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on Nigerian and regional employment trends, compensation benchmarks, and industry workforce shifts.
• Monitor market movements, competitor service models, and emerging HR technology trends, identifying relevant insights to support EISS’s research and advisory work.
• Design, deploy, and analyze corporate surveys (e.g., annual salary surveys, workplace sentiment benchmarks) for corporate clients.
• Draft high-quality whitepapers, industry reports, and executive briefings that establish EISS as a premier HR consulting authority.
• Conduct deep-dive research to support the marketing and business development teams with data-backed pitch decks, articles, and presentation materials.
• Track changes in labor laws, tax codes, and compliance frameworks across operating markets, producing concise briefing notes for internal and client use.
• Develop research insights newsletters for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Economics, Statistics, Mass Communication, International Relations, Sociology, or related Social Sciences.
• Minimum 1 year of core research, content strategy, or market analysis experience (consulting, agency, or corporate environment).
• Practical knowledge of industry research, survey design, data cross-tabulation, and qualitative analysis.
• Exceptional business writing and editorial skills; ability to communicate complex data simply and persuasively.
• Uncompromising commitment to facts and source verification; you don't accept surface-level data.
• Ability to execute rapid research synthesis under tight project deadlines.
• Key Skills: Corporate research, report writing, research surveys, economic research, talent research.

Location: Surulere, Lagos State.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
