Job summary
The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring the company’s inventory to ensure accurate stock levels, proper documentation,and efficient movement of goods. The role involves receiving, recording, storing, issuing, and reconciling inventory while identifying discrepancies, preventing stock losses, and ensuring timely availability

Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock accurately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and documentation.
- Organize and store stock properly to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
- Issue stock based on approved requests and established procedures.
- Coordinate and document stock transfers between locations or departments.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile results with inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and variances.
- Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment needs to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and submit periodic inventory reports to management.
- Track stock movement, usage, losses, damages, and wastage.
- Identify and implement measures to minimize inventory losses and wastage.
- Support procurement activities by providing accurate stock information and replenishment requirements.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to protect stock from damage or deterioration.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- A minimum of a degree in a related field
