A fast-growing fintech company is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SEO specialist to join our digital marketing department full-time onsite in Ikeja, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the company’s organic visibility across Google, Bing, AI search platforms, and AI overviews while driving qualified traffic.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings and traffic.
- Handle technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, link building, and keyword research.
- Optimise websites and content for Google Search, Bing, AI Search Platforms, and AI Overviews.
- Write and optimise SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and website content.
- Conduct website audits and resolve SEO-related issues.
- Generate quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
- Track SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and related platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Create and maintain SEO SOPs and manage SEO-related SLAs.
- Train internal staff on SEO best practices where necessary.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to improve online visibility and conversions.
- Develop and maintain SEO SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Create SEO workflow documentation and implementation guidelines.
- Manage SEO-related SLAs to ensure timely execution and deliverables.
- Conduct SEO training sessions for internal staff and content teams.
- Educate team members on SEO best practices and AI search optimisation.
- And any-other task as assigned by your supervisor and management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO
- Strong knowledge of Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, Link Building, and Keyword Research
- Ability to improve website visibility and generate organic traffic across Google, Bing, AI Search Platforms, and AI Overviews
- Experience writing SEO-optimized articles and blog posts
- Proven experience generating quality backlinks
- Familiar with various SEO tools and analytics platforms
- Must provide at least 3 websites previously ranked successfully
Location: Lagos, Ikeja.
Work Mode: Fully Onsite Monday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm
