Trader

Responsibilities:

• Conducts daily market research based on the various platforms
• Conduct a technical analysis on all commodities being traded
• Prepare the Weekly and Daily Trading Plans
• Monitor the markets continuously to identify trends and how the trends change
• Record and monitor the portfolio positions and ensure that the portfolio is positive at all times
• Prepare daily trading and reconciliation reports.
• Manage Hedges for Physical Commodities being produced by the organisation
• Financial modelling and valuation – prepare financial models for the physical and financial side of the business using assumptions and real-life data.
• Ensure all risk management processes are followed
• Ensure total compliance with regulations, standards, and market requirements for the derivatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of trading experience in financial markets or commodities.
• A sound working knowledge of charting tools like Metastock, TradingView, etc.
• Good working knowledge of price patterns and how to draw and establish patterns in a rapidly changing market.
• Perform trend analysis daily on the various trading platforms.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in trading software and tools, excellent decision-making abilities, and a solid understanding of financial markets and instruments.
• Ability to work under pressure, quick thinking, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
