Senior Software Engineer

• Lead, manage, and mentor the software development team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
• Manage software projects end-to-end, from planning and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications.
• Deliver projects and product releases on schedule, with strong attention to deadlines and commitments.
• Collaborate with product, design, customer service, and other teams to deliver solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to product strategy, architecture, technical decisions, and development best practices.
• Take ownership of existing products and proactively identify opportunities to improve functionality, usability, and performance.
• Use AI and modern development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

Requirements:

• Strong experience leading and managing a software development team.
• Strong end-to-end project management skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time.
• Advanced proficiency with AI development and productivity tools, including Codex, ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools.
• Strong full-stack development experience, particularly with Django and NestJS, plus solid frontend development skills.
• Excellent time management, ownership, and delivery discipline.
• Strong understanding of customer service and user experience, with the ability to build solutions around customer needs.
• Strong passion for technology and the products being developed, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, Git/version control, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Good understanding of software architecture, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Remuneration: NGN 600,000 – 650,000 Monthly
