This role provides operational and commercial leadership for the smooth daily operation of the radio station by coordinating the administrative, technical, content-provision and commercial talents of the station. The holder is accountable to the station’s owners/management and must strive to maintain a highly professional environment

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Generate original ideas and pitch them
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills, complemented by diplomacy
- Possess strong business and finance skills
- Exercise sound editorial judgment
- Know the radio market, different stations and programme styles, and audience demographics
- On a day-to-day basis,the station manager must supervise and coordinate the schedules, workflow, and responsibilities of various units, hiring, training, and evaluating employees, as well as providing communication between units.
- He/she is also responsible for the success and profitability of the station, and helps determine and meet the financial goals of station owners.
- Must work closely with Finance and Accounts to track purchases, cash flow, and profits; prepare budgets; and maintain accountability.
- Must work closely with sales managers and advertising sales staff so as to adequately supervise and monitor the growth path for the station’s wallet share and market share.
- He/she must have enough technical knowledge to understand the operation of all station equipment and also in charge of facilities management and must be able to offer opinions regarding the use of the station’s assets.
- Be up to date about and ensure program and technical employees comply with all local, state, and federal broadcasting regulations and laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10years of experience
- BSc. Degree in a relevant course of study
