Job Summary
The People Associate is more than an HR support role; you are a culture carrier and operational anchor, helping to make every Good experience, from onboarding to engagement, intentional, seamless, and human. You’ll work closely with the People Manager to keep the rhythm of the company steady, ensuring that our people operations, documentation, and experiences reflect the company's values of creativity, care, and excellence. From managing records to coordinating onboarding, from supporting employee wellbeing programs to driving communication and recognition systems, you’ll help build the foundation that allows the people to do meaningful work and thrive. We believe that great teams are built through small, consistent acts of care, and you’ll play a central role in making those moments happen.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
People Operations Support:
- Support the People Manager in day-to-day HR operations, documentation, onboarding, payroll coordination, and compliance tracking.
- Maintain accurate and organised employee records, ensuring all contracts, KYC, and statutory documents are up to date.
- Assist with recruitment logistics, job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and reference checks.
- Support payroll data collation and monthly updates for Finance.
- Help track attendance, leave, and performance timelines across teams.
Employee Experience & Engagement:
- Help design and deliver employee engagement activities (e.g., Town Halls, birthdays, anniversaries).
- Assist in running reward and recognition programs that celebrate excellence and teamwork.
- Support internal communication, from welcome notes to updates and people-related announcements.
- Coordinate wellness and care initiatives, including team check-ins and wellness activities.
- Keep the “people pulse” gathering feedback and insights to improve the employee experience.
Performance & Learning Support:
- Track monthly one-on-one and 360 feedback cycles; ensure follow-ups are documented and visible.
- Assist in updating performance trackers and learning dashboards.
- Support learning and development activities, scheduling sessions, coordinating facilitators, and curating learning materials.
- Maintain the “People Folder,” ensuring updated performance, feedback, and learning resources per team member.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate onboarding experiences for new hires, from documentation to welcome kits and introductions.
- Ensure all new employees have a smooth setup: emails, tools, introductions, and workspace orientation.
- Track probation reviews and confirmations.
- Help maintain a talent pipeline database in collaboration with the People Manager.
Culture & Documentation:
- Support the creation and updating of people-related policies, guides, and templates.
- Maintain central storage for all employee-related resources (contracts, reviews, legal, and welfare).
- Help document evolving culture, from internal highlights to people impact stories.
- Keep the People calendar organised, ensuring awareness of upcoming activities, training, and celebrations.
Requirements:
- 2-4+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or administrative support (preferably in a startup or creative environment).
- Detail-oriented and dependable, with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Warm and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal ability.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and care.
- Proactive and eager to learn, always finding ways to make processes smoother and experiences richer.
- Comfortable with digital tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Excel.
- Believe in structure with soul, processes that serve people, not the other way around.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 250,000
