Video Editor and Graphic Designer
Job summary
Softlab Digital is a product studio building digital tools that people actually use, from B2B platforms to consumer apps. We work lean, move fast, and care deeply about quality. This is a creative role at the intersection of design, video, and storytelling. You'll own the visual output that drives people to download our apps, engage with our platforms, and remember who we are. That means product ads, logo animations, short-form social video, and everything in between, all rooted in a clear, consistent brand story.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design and animate product ads, promos, and logo animations for social, paid, and in-app placements
- Produce short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that drives downloads and engagement.
- Create static and motion designs across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
- Translate business and product briefs into clear, visually compelling stories.
- Protect visual brand consistency across every asset you ship.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership; iterate fast on what's working.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of professional design and motion work, with a portfolio that proves it.
- Strong command of the Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects at minimum.
- Demonstrated skills in logo animation, product ads, and short-form social video.
- A real understanding of branding and communication. You can take an idea and find its visual story.
- You produce great work with limited assets and tight timelines, not only when conditions are perfect.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they fit into a modern creative workflow. You don't need to use AI for everything, but ignoring it in 2026 is a signal.
- Past work that shows how your creative direction moved a brand or business forward, not just well-crafted pixels.
Our Approach To Hiring:
- Skills over credentials: We practise skills-based hiring. Formal degrees are not required; instead, we evaluate candidates based on their portfolio, creative problem-solving abilities, and capacity to deliver high-quality results.
How to Apply:
Send Us Three Things:
- Your portfolio or reel (a link works best: Behance,
personal site, Vimeo, Google Drive, whatever you use.)
- 2–3 short project notes (For each: what the brief was, what
you decided to do, and what it accomplished for the brand.)
- One sentence on an AI tool you've actually used (tell us what the tool was and what you used it for in your creative work)
