Creative Operations Assistant
Job summary
Trop d’Argent Ventures is supporting recruitment on behalf of a client working within the creative and cultural industries. We are seeking a Creative Operations Assistant to provide coordination, administrative and practical support across art, fashion, film, editorial projects and creative initiatives. This is a part-time, contract-based role of approximately 20 hours per week. It is remote-first and Nigeria-based, although occasional project-related travel may be required within Nigeria, including Lagos, Abuja, and the South-East.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project calendars, deadlines, meetings and action points.
- Follow up with artists, contributors, institutions, partners, and suppliers.
- Support exhibitions, editorial projects, shoots, events, and other creative initiatives.
- Maintain contact databases, project documents, and digital archives.
- Assist with website/CMS updates and content uploads.
- Support social media scheduling and content calendars.
- Research artists, organisations, grants, venues, and potential partnerships.
- Prepare briefs, correspondence, presentations, and project information.
- Assist with Nigeria-based project logistics and event preparation.
- Track invoices, receipts, and administrative records for review.
- Flag deadlines or operational issues before they become urgent.
Requirements:
- HND or higher preferred; relevant experience and strong ability will also be considered.
- Approximately one year of relevant experience is desirable.
- Strong eye for detail/taste
- Genuine interest in fashion, art, film, lifestyle, culture, and the wider creative industries.
- Highly organised, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Professional and articulate in written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new digital tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Canva, website/CMS platforms, and social media tools is useful.
- Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and CapCut experience is an advantage.
- French-speaking applicants are also welcome.
Growth:
- The initial contract may be reviewed or expanded over time.
- Increased responsibility and broader project ownership may be offered based on performance, capability and the developing needs of the business.
Remuneration: NGN 110,000 Monthly
