Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: posting roles, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR records, and performance documentation.
  • Support payroll coordination, leave management, and attendance tracking.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies, code of conduct, and company handbook.
  • Support employee welfare, engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate staff performance reviews and provide reports to management.
  • Maintain compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal HR standards.
  • Oversee administrative and office operations (facilities, supplies, logistics, etc.).
  • Support vendor management and coordinate internal communication across teams.
  • Assist the CEO in executing company-wide goals, schedules, and reporting.
  • Monitor operational processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Support event coordination, partnerships, and staff travel logistics.
  • Ensure company documents, approvals, and processes are properly filed and updated.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in HR, operations, or people management (preferably in a startup or tech environment).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with HR tools (Google Workspace, Excel, HRIS software, etc.).
  • High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and initiative.
  • A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.
  • Passion for people, teamwork, and creating efficient systems.
  • Adaptability to work both independently and collaboratively.
