Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: posting roles, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employment contracts, HR records, and performance documentation.
- Support payroll coordination, leave management, and attendance tracking.
- Develop and enforce HR policies, code of conduct, and company handbook.
- Support employee welfare, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate staff performance reviews and provide reports to management.
- Maintain compliance with Nigerian labour laws and internal HR standards.
- Oversee administrative and office operations (facilities, supplies, logistics, etc.).
- Support vendor management and coordinate internal communication across teams.
- Assist the CEO in executing company-wide goals, schedules, and reporting.
- Monitor operational processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Support event coordination, partnerships, and staff travel logistics.
- Ensure company documents, approvals, and processes are properly filed and updated.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in HR, operations, or people management (preferably in a startup or tech environment).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and documentation.
- Proficiency with HR tools (Google Workspace, Excel, HRIS software, etc.).
- High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and initiative.
- A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking ability.
- Passion for people, teamwork, and creating efficient systems.
- Adaptability to work both independently and collaboratively.
