A fast growing IVF clinic in Ajah, Lagos, requires the services of an HR officer for immediate employment. Please note that applicants must reside within Ajah and its environs as applications from applicants outside the specified area will not be considered.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & OnboardingSourcing Clinical Talent: Partner with clinic management to identify staffing needs and source qualified doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Screening & Credentialing: Conduct initial interviews and verify professional licenses, certifications, and medical credentials.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate clinical orientation and compliance training for new hires to ensure they safely integrate into the clinic's workflow.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Medical Licensing: Track and ensure timely renewal of all clinical licences and registrations.
  • Occupational Health: Coordinate staff medical checkups and vaccination records and manage exposure or injury reporting with relevant occupational health and safety bodies.
  • Labor Laws: Ensure the clinic remains fully compliant with federal and state labor laws, including working hours and overtime regulations
  • Employee Relations & Retention Conflict Resolution: Handle workplace disputes and grievances quickly to maintain a harmonious, patient-focused environment.
  • Wellbeing Programs: Implement wellness and support initiatives to combat clinical burnout and manage shift-scheduling fatigue.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate annual performance reviews and assist department heads in drafting performance improvement plans.
  • Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Payroll Processing: Gather and compile attendance, leave, and overtime data to process monthly payroll accurately.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, including health insurance plans, retirement schemes, and leave tracking (sick, annual, and maternity leave).
  • Training & Development Mandatory Training: Ensure all staff complete mandatory yearly training (e.g., CPR certification, HIPAA/patient privacy, infection control).
  • Skill Development: Coordinate continuing education and professional development programs to maintain high standards of medical care.


Requirement:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience 
  • A minimum of HND
