Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage recruitment processes. Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers. Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment. Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution fairly and confidentially.
- Performance Management: Support managers in setting performance goals and conducting evaluations. Monitor performance appraisal processes and follow up on development plans.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs. Support career growth initiatives and learning opportunities.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer payroll, benefits, and incentive programs. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Compliance & HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies. Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
- Strategic HR (for HR Managers): Contribute to HR strategy development aligned with organisational goals. Support change management initiatives and workforce planning.
Requirements:
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR (typically 3–5).
- Good knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
