Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Professional to join our company and will oversee recruitment, develop HR strategies, manage employee relations, administer payroll and benefits, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing HR policies, managing performance, facilitating training, and resolving conflicts, while also contributing to a positive work culture within the specific context of the travel industry.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Management: Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with the company's business objectives, including those specific to the travel and tourism industry.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage interviews of candidates to onboarding and orientation, ensuring the company hires staff with the necessary skills for the travel sector.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee issues, facilitate conflict resolution, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal system, set KPIs, and conduct staff performance reviews.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer payroll, manage employee benefits programs, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and provide training programs to enhance employee skills, including training on travel policies and customer service standards.
  • Compliance and Legal: Ensure the company adhere to all labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on HR metrics and performance to support decision-making. 


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is typically required, with a master's degree being a plus.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of labor law, HR systems, and metrics is essential.
  • Competencies: Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are necessary to build relationships and manage effectively at all levels of the company.
