HR Executive
Job summary
The HR Executive is responsible for providing efficient administrative support and managing human resource functions across all units of AutoClinic, the garage, training academy, and corporate office. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, effective employee management, and compliance with company policies.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management:
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems.
- Prepare and issue employment letters, memos, warnings, and HR reports.
- Manage staff welfare, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters professionally.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure periodic appraisals are conducted.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with labour laws and company policy.
Training & Development:
- Work with the MD and Department Heads to identify training needs.
- Coordinate internal and external training programmes for both staff and trainees at AutoClinic Academy.
- Track training effectiveness and maintain skill development records.
Administration & Office Management:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations and office logistics.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
- Supervise administrative staff, cleaners, and drivers.
- Manage procurement of office supplies, uniforms, and consumables.
- Maintain proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping (digital and physical).
Payroll & HR Analytics:
- Compile and process monthly payroll data in collaboration with the accounts department.
- Manage staff deductions, allowances, leave payments, and statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.).
- Maintain updated HR metrics and analytics (headcount, turnover, leave balances, attendance, etc.).
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and quality assurance standards.
- Support ISO, QMS, or other operational compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate employee health and safety programs in collaboration with the Workshop Supervisor.
Internal Communication & Employee Engagement:
- Facilitate internal communication channels between management and staff.
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, meetings, and recognition programmes.
- Promote a positive organisational culture aligned with AutoClinic’s values and vision.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
