Team Lead, Client Services: Acquisition and Management

Job Summary

The successful candidate reports to the Head, Business Development and has dotted lines to the Managing Partner Operations.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition of New Client Accounts
  • Management of Existing Client Accounts
  • Anchoring of all Client pitches
  • Development of Brand Strategy
  • Lead Generation and Conversion
  • Development of Account Acquisition Targets
  • Receipt of Customer feedback/complaints
  • Resolution of Customer Complaints
  • Liaison with Operations Team for automated customer complaint resolution
  • Responsible for daily activity and progress reporting per client per campaign
  • Oversee the development of customer feedback framework
  • Responsible for customer complaint management 
  • Development/management of client media plan
  • Extraction of the Client brief and liaison with content management.
  • Review of KPIs and communication to the client based on the developed media plan 
  • Review of post-campaign reports prior to dissemination to customer.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Development Team, Customers, IT, web developer etc.
  • Auxiliary Business Development function (applicable to all staff)

Job Requirements:

  • First degree in any Marketing, Business Management or other related social science courses
  • Certifications and professional memberships will be an added advantage.
  • 5-7 years experience in a marketing/advertising agency
  • Verifiable evidence of customer acquisition
  • Sound understanding of Advertising strategy
  • At least 4 years in Client Services in a marketing/advertising agency
  • Social Media and digital marketing Know-how is a must
  • Relevant professional qualification is an added advantage


  • Astute Sales Person
  • Fluent presentation skills
  • Fluent written communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence and sound relationship management background
  • Have a deep understanding of Social media
  • Good knowledge of reporting tools, Excel, Word, Applications


  • Ability to work with teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to execute tasks effectively and timely
  • Strong sales skill and data-driven thinking
  • Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Monitoring

Salary: NGN350,000- NGN400,000
