Storekeeper

Responsibilities:
Inventory & Stock Control:

• Receive, inspect, and verify materials delivered to the store against purchase orders/delivery notes
  
• Properly store items to prevent damage, loss, or expiry – use FIFO/FEFO method
  
• Issue materials/tools to staff/workers with proper documentation
  
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and report discrepancies
  

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate store records: Goods Received Note, Goods Issued Note, Stock Register, Bin Cards
  
• Update inventory system/manual books for all in and out movements
  
• Prepare reports on stock levels, slow-moving items, and materials to be re-ordered
  

Store Management:

• Keep the store clean, organized, and safe at all times
  
• Label shelves and ensure proper arrangement for easy access
  
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure no expired/damaged goods are issued
  
• Control access to the store – only authorized persons allowed
  

Other Duties:

• Raise requisition when stock reaches minimum level
  
• Liaise with purchasing, production, and poultry/farm team on material needs
  
• Report damaged, lost, or obsolete items to management
  
• Ensure security of store items
  

Requirements:

• A minimum of an OND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Admin, or a related field.
  
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory role. Poultry farm experience is an added advantage
  
• Good record keeping, basic math, attention to detail, honesty and integrity
  
• Knowledge of Excel and inventory software is an advantage
  
• Physically fit for lifting, good communication, organized
  

KPIs to Measure Performance:

• Stock accuracy, no unexplained shortages
  
• No stock-outs of critical items
  
• Clean, organized and safe store
  
• Timely and accurate store reports of feed, drugs, vaccines, vaccines, disinfectants, feed additives, drinkers, feeders, crates, brooding equipment, PPE and consumables for workers

Location: Benin City, Edo State

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 Monthly
