Sales/Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

We are a web ads - internet contents marketing provider with global outreach and we are looking forward to recruiting a sales/marketing specialist into the exciting and rewarding role. The purpose of the position is to provide excellent customer service and assistance to customers.

  • Minimum Qualification: OND

Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Approach customers at their stores, marketplace or their places of business, introduce Jaburatta web service to them provide subscription and promotional information to the customers.

  • Support the customers to register and opt for any of the subscriptions offered.

  • Where necessary, support customers to download our App their Android or iOS devices. 

  • Attain sales goals established by the management team while complying with company and local policies and procedures.

  • Assists customers with a listing of products and items to the website, then explain the benefit of listings to customers which to enhance sales coverage, wide reach and broader visibility thereby increasing sales and return on investment. 

  • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to remedy the situation.

  • Troubleshoot and identify problems related to the subscription.

  • Complete daily registration count and record daily subscriptions.

  • Follow up with customers and answer phones questions according to company guidelines.

  • Perform administrative duties such as tracking registration, sales, and keeping a performance log.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be proficient in English (oral and written) and other languages.

  • The candidate must have a good understanding of the internet, web browser and App installation.

  • Applicant must have a mobile device or tablet.

  • Must have excellent knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Packages (Excel and Word).

  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to multi-task.

  • Calm and efficient in all situations and possess the ability to work with little or no supervision.

  • Must be intelligent, have excellent analytic thinking and be administratively efficient.

  • Ability to pay attention to details and have a persuasive attribute.

  • Years of experience in similar roles not relevant but is an added advantage.

  • High performing and a flexible candidate may have opportunities to travel nationally or across Africa.

Soft Skills Required:

  • Must be a people person, welcoming, friendly and flexible.

  • Efficient and professional and have excellent communication skills.

  • Good at administrative tasks.

  • Calm and efficient in all situations.

  • Well organized, with the ability to multi-task.


Remuneration:

  • Salary is N50,000 plus performance bonus
