Job summary

We’re looking for a proactive HR Officer to support both our resident staff and remote Workfellows. You’ll help us recruit, onboard, engage, and develop our amazing team while keeping HR processes smooth and efficient.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for resident staff and Workfellow positions.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates, and manage offer letters.
  • Support smooth onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and initial training.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records for both resident staff and Workfellows.
  • Track attendance, leave requests, and work schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
  • Support the President in monitoring staff performance and implementing appraisal processes.
  • Assist in creating engagement initiatives to boost morale and motivation.
  • Help address employee concerns or grievances in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate internal training programs and professional development initiatives
  • Organize quality, fun team outings to promote team bonding for our cross-functional team in other cities.
  • Track training completion and identify skill gaps to support growth for resident staff and Workfellows.
  •  Assist in communicating company policies, procedures, and updates.
  • Ensure HR practices align with the company’s mission, values, and operational standards.
  • Prepare and submit HR reports to the President as required
  • Provide insights and suggestions to improve HR processes and staff experience.
  • Coordinate onboarding and support processes specific to Workfellows.
  • Track Workfellow performance metrics and report to the Executive Director
  • Assist in communication and engagement initiatives tailored to remote team members.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Minimum of a BSc.
