Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and ensure proper documentation and confidentiality.
- Support performance appraisal processes and monitor staff performance.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary issues in line with company policies.
- Prepare HR-related reports and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Support training and development activities.
- Maintain and update HR databases and payroll inputs.
- Monitor staff attendance, leave, and timesheet records.
- Assist with policy development, review, and implementation.
- Promote a healthy work culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Abuja residents only or willing to relocate
Additional Skills:
- Membership of CIPM or other HR professional bodies is an added advantage.
- Experience with HR software or payroll systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
