Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Officer with strong communication and policy development skills to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing HR operations, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Draft and manage HR correspondence and official documents.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance management activities.
  • Coordinate payroll, leave administration, and employee welfare initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal policies, and best HR practices.
  • Provide advisory support to management and staff on HR-related issues.
  • Promote effective communication and a positive work culture across all levels.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or any related field (Minimum of 2:1).
  • M.Sc. in a relevant field is an added advantage.
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in human resource management or administration.
  • Certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) or another recognised HR professional body is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in drafting HR policies, procedures, and professional correspondence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.


Remuneration: NGN  400,000 - 500,000 Monthly (depending on experience and qualifications).
