Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented HR/Safety & Compliance Coordinator to support our growing operations team. This is an entry-level role — no prior logistics or HR experience is required. You will receive on-the-job training to learn the systems, policies, and procedures that keep Offmax compliant with FMCSA/DOT regulations and internal company standards. This position is ideal for someone who is organised, dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping a team succeed.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
- Track driver qualification files, medical cards, MVRs, drug tests, and other compliance records.
- Help ensure all vehicle maintenance, inspections, and logs are up to date.
- Support scheduling and documentation for driver orientation, safety briefings, and training sessions.
- Monitor hours-of-service (HOS) compliance and flag potential violations.
- Prepare safety performance and incident reports when required.
Human Resources Support:
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and onboarding new drivers and support staff.
- Verify employment documents, driver credentials, and background checks.
- Maintain accurate personnel records and HR databases.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and updates to employees.
- Support employee relations by helping address inquiries, schedule reviews, and coordinate disciplinary processes if necessary.
Administrative & Coordination Duties:
- Keep organised digital and physical records of compliance, HR, and safety files.
- Communicate effectively across departments to ensure seamless coordination.
- Support management with day-to-day administrative tasks and follow-ups.
- Assist with audits, insurance renewals, and data submissions as needed.
Requirements:

- Excellent communication and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools.
