Job Summary
The HR Generalist/Business Partner is responsible for performing a variety of human resources-related tasks, often partnering with specific business units or departments within an organization. This role requires a broad understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, source candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the offer process. May be involved in onboarding new employees.
- Performance Management: Assist managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans. Provide training and resources on performance management best practices.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication. May be involved in compensation analysis and salary recommendations.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and develop and deliver training programs for employees. May be involved in succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- HR Data & Reporting: Maintain HR databases and generate reports on key HR metrics. Analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to improve employee morale, engagement, and retention.
- Change Management: Support organizational changes and initiatives, providing guidance and communication to employees.
- HR Projects: Manage HR projects, such as system implementations, policy updates, or process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a related HR role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including employment law, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the organization.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR).
- Bilingual skills.
