HR Officer, Store Operations
Job summary
The HR Officer provides operational and administrative HR support to store retail teams, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle. The role supports the HRBP in implementing people initiatives and acts as the first point of contact for HR queries from store managers and employees.

Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for store-level roles, including job posting, screening, scheduling interviews, and offer management.
- Manage onboarding activities, offer letters, pre-employment checks, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain talent pipelines and databases across all stores.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and hiring managers to meet staffing needs within agreed timelines.
Employee Relations & HR Administration:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR queries relating to policies, contracts, and entitlements.
- Support store managers in handling first-line disciplinary, grievance, and performance management matters.
- Prepare and process employment-related documentation, including contracts, warnings, and letters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
Attendance & Leave Management:
- Monitor and manage employee attendance, leave balances, and absenteeism across assigned stores.
- Coordinate return-to-work processes and flagging of welfare concerns to the HRBP.
Payroll Support & Benefits Administration:
- Collate and verify monthly payroll inputs, including new hires, leavers, overtime, and deductions.
- Coordinate benefits enrolment and administration for store staff (HMO, pension, etc.)
- Resolve payroll queries from store employees in a timely and accurate manner
Training & Development Support:
- Coordinate logistics for in-store training programmes, scheduling, and attendance tracking.
- Maintain training records and support the HRBP in monitoring completion rates.
- Assist in the roll-out of HR initiatives, policy updates, and engagement campaigns at the store level.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure all HR practices and documentation meet relevant labour laws and company policies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment, and leave.
- Support HR audit readiness by maintaining organised and accurate personnel files
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- Degree in a related field
