An HR Assistant is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize to a fast-paced environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Performing administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department
- Maintaining proper records of employee attendance and leave
- Assist in submitting online job postings, shortlisting candidates and scheduling job interviews with payroll duties
- Assisting the HR Manager in policy formulation, hiring and salary administration
- Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees
- Serving as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
- Managing and coordinating schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events
- Ensuring compliance with employment and labour laws
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related (essential).
- 3-4 years of experience as an HR assistant (essential).
- Exposure to labour law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
Location: Lagos
Remuneration: NGN 200,000 -250,000 Net
