Job summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly resourceful Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Associate based in Abuja to support our fintech and corporate operations.

Responsibilities:
- Follow up on licence applications, regulatory submissions, and compliance processes with regulatory agencies, including the CBN, NDIC, and other relevant institutions.
- Liaise with ministries, regulators, and government institutions regarding approvals, permits, operational licences, and compliance matters.
- Handle regulatory correspondence and ensure timely responses and regulatory compliance.
- Support corporate legal, regulatory, and administrative matters assigned by the firm.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, letters, compliance documentation, and corporate communications.
- Professionally represent the firm in engagements with regulators, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Provide regular status updates and ensure effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
- Escalate issues proactively and recommend practical solutions where necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in regulatory affairs, legal practice, compliance, corporate affairs, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with fintech companies, financial institutions, law firms, consulting firms, or regulatory agencies is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian regulatory processes and government institutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be capable of handling confidential and sensitive matters professionally.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Existing networks or professional relationships within regulatory agencies will be a strong advantage.
- Candidate must be based in Abuja.
