E-Commerce Officer
Job summary
The primary responsibility of this role is the day-to-day management and performance of the company’s online sales channels. The role focuses on product uploads, order coordination, website updates, online promotions, performance tracking, and ensuring a seamless customer shopping experience that drives revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
Product Content Management:
- Upload and update product images, descriptions, pricing, and attributes on the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure all product listings meet quality standards (image resolution, naming convention, category
- accuracy)
- Collaborate with the product photography team to request missing images or corrections.
- Maintain consistent brand tone and style across all product listings.
- Regularly audit product pages for errors, missing information, or outdated content.
Revenue Generation:
- Implements strategies towards achieving the set revenue target.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop initiatives for attracting and retaining customers.
- Review, process, and assign drop-shipping requests to designated vendors.
- Track orders to ensure timely fulfilment and delivery.
- Coordinate with the fulfilment team to resolve stock issues, delays, or inconsistencies.
- Update customers and internal teams on shipment statuses when needed.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Customer Experience Management:
- Respond to online customer inquiries.
- Resolve complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Monitor customer reviews and feedback.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction levels.
Digital Marketing Support:
- Maintain daily logs of products uploaded, updated, or removed.
- Generate weekly reports on drop-ship order status and vendor performance.
- Work with the marketing team to execute online campaigns.
- Ensure landing pages are optimized for promotions.
- Support email marketing and social commerce integration.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Monthly online sales target achievement
- Website conversion rate
- Order processing turnaround time
- Inventory accuracy rate
- Customer satisfaction score
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Minimum of an HND
