Job Summary

The Bliss Caregiver is a domiciliary Home caregiving/Nursing agency for older adults and special children in Nigeria. We provide professional nursing care at the comfort of the clients' homes/residents. We are recruiting to fill the position of Homecare Supervisor (Registered Nurse) in Lagos.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 4 years

Job Description/Requirements

  • Supervising caregivers/nurses in the various homes
  • Scheduling home health aides for patient visitation
  • Monitoring the quality of care; ensuring the satisfaction of patients and families
  • Assisting in interviewing and recruitment of caregivers.
  • Responsible for the full On-boarding of Caregivers and other staff i.e Orientation, training, Verification(Identity, criminal check, certificate, health/fitness & Guarantors), database set up per recruited staff
  • Develop and maintain a database of caregivers  activities and information using computerized record management systems
  • Ensures regular feedback from Clients and ensures the use of the feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of delivered service.
  • Quick identification of Caregivers competence gap where one exists and ensuring the gaps are filled with adequate training where necessary or outright replacement.
  • Ensures the upskilling of Caregivers with up-to-date training where and when necessary .
  • Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning a caregiver and following up on work results.
  • Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Responsible for setting up the care plan for each customer and  making sure the delivery of quality service
  • Find care workers with the right skills, knowledge, and personal attributes to match the customer’s requirements, afterward the introduction of the care worker to the customer and keep the customer up to date with any changes.
  • Proficient in budgeting, resource planning, logistic, and development and implementation of care plans for patients.
  • Undertakes responsibilities of this position in every way that will ensure retention of existing clients and winning of more clients to the company especially through referrals.
  • Generate and deliver weekly reports to the MD.
  • Work with the team as a team player to achieve all the company goals and objectives.
