Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Own product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for multiple early-stage tech products (web/mobile platforms, SaaS tools, marketplaces, etc.) across the studio portfolio.
- Author high-quality Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Software Requirements Documents (SRD) — clear, structured, traceable artifacts that engineering teams can build from with minimal back-and-forth.
- Create wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, user flows, and basic mockups (using tools like Figma, Excalidraw, Balsamiq, or pen & paper → digital) to communicate product ideas effectively to designers, founders, and developers.
- Act as a technical co-founder proxy: write or review critical code (full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript preferred — React/Next.js, Node.js/Express, Python/Django/Flask, mobile if relevant) during MVP sprints when velocity demands it.
- Collaborate closely with engineers on architecture, tech stack decisions, scalability considerations, and integration points.
- Understand and guide DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Vercel, Render, DigitalOcean, etc.), monitoring, basic containerization (Docker), deployments, and rollback strategies — to ensure reliable, fast shipping.
- Define success metrics, set up analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, GA4), run experiments, and iterate based on real user data post-launch.
- Ship and maintain products that are live and active in the market — you must be able to point to 1–3 shipped products (ideally B2B/B2C platforms or tools) with sustained usage, users, or revenue as proof of impact.
- Work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; juggle multiple products; influence founders and stakeholders without formal authority.
- Contribute to studio-wide product thinking: templates, playbooks, hiring input for product/eng roles, and service incubation processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Minimum of a BSc.
