Job summary

Rightliving Health Foundation is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate Naturopath to join our wellness team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient health conditions, identifying the root causes of illnesses, and designing personalized, holistic treatment plans using evidence-based natural therapies.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive wellness consultations, including detailed patient health histories, lifestyle reviews, and dietary assessments.
  • Design and implement individualized, non-invasive therapeutic plans involving clinical nutrition, lifestyle counseling, and stress management.
  • Educate patients on preventative healthcare practices, dietary improvements, and the mind-body connection to wellness.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols safely and effectively over time.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within or outside the foundation to ensure integrated, well-rounded patient care.
  • Participate in community outreach programs, health seminars, or wellness workshops organized by the Rightliving Health Foundation.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or professional diploma in Naturopathy, Natural Medicine, Alternative Medicine, or a closely related health science field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience as a practicing Naturopath (experience in a foundation, wellness center, or clinic setting is highly preferred).
  • Must be registered with or certified by the relevant traditional, complementary, or alternative medicine board/council in Nigeria (e.g., the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria's alternative medicine division or equivalent body).
  • Deep understanding of clinical nutrition, toxicology, and holistic lifestyle therapies.
  • Exceptional listening and interpersonal skills to build trust, understand patient frustrations, and communicate complex health concepts simply.
  • Strong diagnostic and critical-thinking skills to identify underlying systemic imbalances rather than just treating superficial symptoms.
  • A natural ability to coach and motivate patients through difficult lifestyle, dietary, and behavioral changes.
  • Strict adherence to patient confidentiality, ethical medical standards, and knowing when to refer patients to conventional medical practitioners.
  • Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic digital tools for scheduling and documentation.
