Workforce Group Abuja, Nigeria seeks a FrontEnd Developer
Key Responsibilities
● Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into functional, responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
● Build reusable, scalable front‑end components using React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
● Ensure applications function seamlessly across all major browsers and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
● Consume RESTful and/or Graph QL APIs to integrate front‑end interfaces with backend systems; handle client‑side authentication, data validation, and error handling.
● Use Git for version control; collaborate via GitHub/GitLab on branching and merging workflows.
● Implement front‑end testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) using tools such as Jest or Cypress.
● Optimize applications for speed and scalability — image compression, lazy loading, minimizing asset requests, resolving performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
● Write clean, well‑documented, testable code adhering to established standards; perform code reviews for self and peers
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
● 2 – 5+ years of experience in front‑end development
● Hands‑on experience with modern front‑end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
● Experience translating UI/UX designs (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into responsive, functional interfaces
● Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code
● Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000/month
