Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist bakers in preparing ingredients (measuring, weighing, sifting flour, mixing doughs and batters) according to specific recipes.
- Clean, sanitise, and wash baking tools, equipment, counter surfaces, and storage areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Help receive, unpack, rotate, and properly store raw ingredients and baking supplies; monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Greet bakery customers, answer product questions, take special orders, and operate cash registers or point-of-sale systems (in retail bakery settings).
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND.
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
