Job summary
A Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked products while ensuring quality, freshness, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Job location is Sagamu, Ogun state.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and consistency of all baked products
- Decorate and present baked items attractively
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area and equipment
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and health regulations at all times
- SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a baker or bakery assistant is an advantage
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
