Job summary
A Security Officer is responsible for protecting a company’s staff, property, equipment, and information by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies.

Responsibilities:
- Guarding and patrolling assigned areas
- Monitoring CCTV cameras and alarm systems
- Controlling the entry and exit of staff and visitors
- Checking identification and issuing visitor passes
- Preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Reporting incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities
- Responding to emergencies such as fire or medical situations
- Enforcing company safety and security policies
 Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC certificate
- Previous security experience is an added advantage
- Physically fit and mentally alert
- Good communication and observation skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety practices
- Integrity and high level of discipline
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
