Front Desk Offocer
Job summary
The Hotel Front Desk Officer is responsible for providing professional and welcoming front-desk services to guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations and guest inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide professional customer service.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle room reservations, cancellations, extensions, and modifications.
- Verify guest information and maintain accurate records.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, room rates, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Process guest payments, invoices, receipts, and other front-desk transactions accurately.
- Monitor room availability and coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status.
- Maintain accurate records of daily arrivals, departures, bookings, and occupancy.
- Manage telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to resolve guest needs.
- Ensure that the front desk and reception area are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel records.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and cash-handling controls.
- Prepare and submit required shift reports and handover notes.
- Handle lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Supervisor or Hotel Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of BSc.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
