Customer Service Officer
Job summary
Our client, a confectioneries company, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented customer service officer to manage customer interactions, support daily operations, and ensure efficient communication with customers. The ideal candidate must be organized, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Receive and attend to incoming customer calls and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Send weekly product broadcasts and updates to customers.
- Ensure clear, high-quality pictures of products are taken and posted in customer groups or communication channels.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify management of any shortages.
- Receive cash payments and accurately record transactions.
- Confirm and verify customer bank transfers before processing orders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and transactions.
- Support daily operational activities to ensure smooth business operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree (graduates preferred).
- Previous customer service or related work experience.
- Good understanding of basic computer appreciation/skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks efficiently.
- Must be responsible, reliable, and organized.
- Active listening and problem-solving skills.

- Male or Female (An unmarried candidate is preferred).
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Saturday
- 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM daily
Benefits:
- Graduate: ₦80,000 monthly (depending on qualifications)
- Salary Review: Up to 20% increase after 6 months, subject to performance.
- Christmas Bonus: Up to 20% of salary.
- Off-Work Pay: Available depending on additional work completed.
