Job summary
As the frontline ambassador for our client into cement distribution and sandcrete block production operations, the Customer Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering long term client loyalty and driving revenue growth in Nigeria's competitive construction materials market.

Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture client relationships by scheduling weekly check-ins (phone, WhatsApp, or visits) and anticipating needs based on project timelines and market demands
- Drive sales growth by identifying upsell opportunities (e.g., bundling cement with sandcrete blocks) and collaborating with logistics for seamless order fulfillment.
- Resolve customer issues promptly, escalating complex cases (e.g., delivery delays) to management while maintaining transparent communication.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in a shared Google Sheet, analyzing data to spot trends like seasonal demand spikes.
- Host quarterly client appreciation events or demos to showcase product quality and build brand advocacy.
- Liaise with internal teams to streamline processes, such as faster invoicing or inventory updates, reducing turnaround time by 20%.
- Monitor industry updates (e.g., cement price fluctuations, new regulations) and share insights to position us as a trusted partner
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Minimum of an HND.
Remuneration: NGN 107,000 Gross
Location: Abule Egba, Lagos
