Travel Consultant - Customer Service

Responsibilities:

• Taking customer phone calls and responding to customer inquiries about new flight and hotel bookings. Consultant will assist customers identify flights and hotels that meet their travel needs and take booking over the phone.
• Answering questions from customers related to the company's services, website functions and how to make bookings, process payment and update information
• Resolving problems with existing bookings and coordinating resolution with customers and Service Providers
• Helping customers make changes to their travel arrangements (flight and hotel) by working with suppliers to process change requests, provide change quotes to customers in a timely manner and process accepted changes
  
• Responding to customer requests received over various channels including phone (voice message), email, SMS and social media
  
• Assisting Customers with pre-travel tasks such as online check-in

The Travel Consultant will also provide limited support of the following functions;

• Assisting in formulating and updating marketing campaigns
• Assisting in updating the company's Social Media site including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Prior work experience as a travel consultant/agent is preferred but not required.
• Also familiarity with GDS systems is advantageous but not required.
