Job Summary

The Training Assistant supports the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs within the organization. They help with administrative tasks, scheduling, logistics, and communication related to employee learning and development. This role ensures training operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain training calendars and send timely reminders to participants and facilitators.
  • Prepare training materials, handouts, presentations, attendance sheets, and feedback forms.
  • Set up training rooms, equipment, and technology before sessions; provide technical support as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of employee training attendance, certifications, and completions.
  • Track training expenses and assist with budget monitoring.
  • Support learning & development reporting, such as collating feedback, generating reports, and analyzing training effectiveness.
  • Liaise with external training vendors or consultants to confirm schedules, materials, and logistics.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple training sessions simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Attention to detail in maintaining accurate training records and preparing materials.
  • Ability to provide basic technical support for training equipment and software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
