Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all stock is properly accounted for.
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods, verify quantities and quality, and process receipts into the inventory system.
  • Pick, pack, and distribute goods to internal customers and external clients in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct physical inventory checks on a regular basis and reconcile inventory records with actual stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storehouse environment, including storage and racking systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of regular inventory reports and participate in annual physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in inventory management.
  • Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the storeroom
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
  • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
  • Rotate stock and coordinate the retention of surpluses
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
  • Plan, direct and manage the central procurement activities of the store in line with approved policies and procedures 
  • Develop cross-functional teams to understand company needs and evaluate suppliers.  
  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality service.
  • Locate, analyze, and develop a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future requirements. 
  • Determine reorder levels for inventory in the store.
  • Keep proper records, maintain and track the movement of Fixed Assets 
  • Provide resources required for the effective functioning of the unit
  • Invoice verification
  • Coordinate selection and allocation of materials to the maintenance team.
  • Provide regular guides to staff for safeguarding the company’s assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or a good first degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum Experience: 1-2 years experience as a storekeeper
